Chocolate Brownie with Chocolate Fudge Icing

Ingredients

The Brownie

  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 16 Natural Delights Medjool Dates, seeds removed
  • 1/4 cup cacao or cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon coconut cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

The Fudge

  • 6 tablespoons cacao or cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, liquid
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Line a square 18cm tin with baking paper overhanging the sides.
  2. Place the brownie ingredients into your processor and blend until the mixture is broken down, well combined and sticking together. Press the mixture firmly into your prepared tin and set aside.
  3. Place the fudge ingredients into a bowl and stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Pour the mixture over your brownie. Place the slice into the fridge to set.

Slice, serve, eat and enjoy!
